The Malco C5R Crimper is used to downsize stove pipe and round metal duct in order to create a male connection for joining sections. This versatile job-site hand tool has five blades that produce a 1-5/8 inch (41.28 mm) long, shallow, double crimp. This crimp replicates factory indentations and ensures a tight fitting, leak-proof connection. Additionally, the connection is more self-supporting during installation thanks to the crimp. A handle closing stop maintains a consistent crimp, while the hardened all-steel construction and a nickel chrome finish ensure long service life.
